The abrasive water jet is an excellent alternative to laser cutting, flame cutting and plasma cutting, even wire EDM in some cases. The overall lower cost of water jet cutting is achieved by faster production rates and by optimizing part positioning and nesting to eliminate material waste and extra part handling.
